- Eurasian_Collared Dove, photographed while walking Scout in Park City UT.
- White-faced Ibis (not in breeding plumage) at Framington Bay, UT
- American Avocets and one Franklin's Gull; Avocet still in breeding plumage Aug 19.
- Phalaropes swimming (I don't know if they are Wilson's or Red-necked); by the dozen
(This is a mixed flock of Wilson's and Red-necked Phalaropes); by the hundreds.

- Wood Duck pair, Farmington Bay, UT

- Northern Shoveler in WY; in MT; Shovelers in flight

- Common Mergansers were common in MT and WY; This Merganser's ashore.

- Great Blue Heron--I photographed GBHs in all three states.
- Snowy Egret I only got Snowy Egret at Bear River in UT.
- Turkey Vultures on the ground, Rockport State Park, UT
- Killdeer an Mamouth Hot Springs. I had Killdeer in all three states.

I photographed 71 identifiable avian species, and in addition I have a folder of photos I have not yet identified, and probably never will. This was my first birding trip without Herman. Furthermore, this was a sightseeing and visiting trip every bit as much as a birding trip.
