Dr. William LeBold And Ms. Mary Hopper, Purdue University


Dr. LeBold is currently a Professor with the school of Freshmen Engineering at Purdue University. He initiated a project to use computer technology in the process of education freshmen engineering students about various options in engineering careers. The Macintosh multimedia application, Hypercard allows students to store and manipulate text, scanned pictures and digitized voice.

Development and testing of the application is a joint venture between Prof. LeBold and Mary Hopper a doctoral candidate in education. When complete, the application will be used in self directed instruction about engineering careers.
