organizations [index] | Crispus Attucks High School

[This is the high school I attended in Indianapolis, 1976-1980.
After I graduated, it became a junior high for a few years,
and then changed it's mission to what it is today. ]

The Multicultural Center comprises the Office of Multicultural Education (OME)
and the Crispus Attucks Museum. The Center opened in 1987 and the Museum,
in 1998. The Center is under the auspices of the Indianapolis Public Schools
and is located at Crispus Attucks Middle School.

The Multicultural Center opened its museum primarily to honor and give
recognition to the historic Crispus Attucks High School and its students.
It is an exciting and provocative history museum focusing on the African
American experience.
