2023 Card


Like its 46 predecessors, this card visually commemorates events from the past year. However, there is a half-page textual insert, and on the other side of that some straightforward photos taken in 2023. In addition Eva's 2023 book and movie lists were enclosed with the card.

an image of the half-page of text that was enclosed in the card 2 photo medlies printed on an 8.5 X 11 page. On the other side were a double copy of the text. I lopped this in half creating two text and photo-medley half-page enclosures.
I printed double-sided, then lopped the paper in half. There was an identical copy of the text on the back of each photo medley.

The envelope, please:
The front and back of the envelope. The two labels feature, respectively, a drawing of my cousin Jeannie at her baby grand piano and a drawing of a Northern Lapwing. The circular seal on the back of the envelope bears the image of an Evening Grosbeak. The piano drawing from the return address label. The text reads ; A sheet of assorted circularly cropped bird photos I took in 2023 and used for stickers to seal the envelopes
The circularly cropped stickers all depict birds or butterflies I photographed in 2023.

2024 Card


As usual, this card visually commemorates the previous 12 months of my life. There is a textual insert to explain the images, and on the other side of that some straightforward photos taken in 2024. In addition Eva's 2024 book and movie lists were either enclosed with the card or emailed.

The half-sheet enclosure contained text on one side, a medley of photos on the other. Two samples of the medlies are shown above.
The envelope, please: The front and back of the envelope. The return address label features a scarlet tanager. The address label features a cedar waxwing. This back has a circular sticker with the image of a black-throated green warbler. This was just one of a variety of stickers used enlargement of the cedar waxwing omage on the address label

The cedar waxwing address label did not miniaturize well.

2025 Card

The envelope, please:
The front and back of the envelope. The return address label features a kestrel. The address label features a yellow-bellied sapsucker. This back has a rectangular seal with the image of a snow owl.
