1987, Belgian Lace/Aztec Sun Calendar:

A Belgian lace doily that looks like a snowflake against a midnight blue background.Belgian lace snowflake(27k) A green envelope with three lace doilies in white printed on it. The last line of the return address is shown.15k

A circular Aztec Sun-calendar, with the symbols altered to represent Eva & Herman's 1987 milestones, printed in gold on a silver disk mounted on a white card. 1988, Advent Calendar:

Outside, our new kitchen wallpaper, two variations, & inside:
Our wallpaper border, featuring black * white checks, black-and-white cows, and a black & white stove, all on yellow wallpaper. 53k The yellow wallpaper itself with the miniature border above & below. 49k A long card showing our garage & the back of our house in bold green, yellow & red, against a background of busy gray drawings. 61k

1989, Translucent ink on clear acetate I:

A stained glass design with an arched top fitted to a business-sized envelope. 31k bytes The bee-eater & hoopoe were seen on our birding trip to Spain; The basket was a gift from Cecy, our Mexican exchange student.

1990, Translucent ink on translucent paper:

A colorful card showing Herman watching the Gray whales from our Oregon motel room, Applicon Volleyball games, New Orleans feather mask, etc. 40k Illustrated instruction sheet 70k This card could be rolled into a cylindrical votive candle shade or tree ornament, fastened with twisties through punched holes.

1991, Translucent ink on clear acetate II:

6 colorful discs arranged in two rows of three, dipicting events from our lives in calendar year 1991. Card(36k) Tongue-in-cheek hand-lettered & illustrated suggestions of things one *could* make out of the discs, such as ornaments. 1992, License Plate/Bumper Sticker:

This year's design printed on a white license plate blank & overlaid with the words 'Some leaders are born women' printed in black on clear vinyl22k Some of our 1992 cards were printed on license plate blanks, the rest on bumper-sticker stock. The cards came with lettering appropriate for a bumper-sticker on a clear vinyl overlay.
This was the year Eva gifted Herman with Puffin vanity plates (21k jpg)

1995, A popup card celebrating Africa & Machu Picchu:

Our completed 1995 card with the pop-up steps to Machu Picchu10k The flap-side of the envelope, covered in black animals and bordered with red WWW digraphs. 46k The envelope for our 1995 card.
