War situation

Communist China controls Hang Chow, hexes 0936, 0735, 0835, Si An, and all hexes north to the Manchurian border (west of the 1942 start line of course), anchored at the northwest by hex 1139.

Note that Communist China may only build land units.

Special Chinese PART rules: all PART units which appear anywhere in China are Communist. Whenever China is rolled on the partisan table, partisans may appear against both Japan and the Nationalist Chinese. Both Japan and Nationalist China count up garrison values and apply that total against the Chinese partisan number. If Japan allows a PART to appear, it must appear in a Japanese-controlled hex; if Nationalist China allows a PART to appear, it must appear in a Nationalist Chinese-controlled hex. Any attacks on these PART units gives Communist China (but not Nationalist China) a production multiple increase.

Lastly, the Great Silk Road WiFSD option really must be played, or else the Communists will never have any gas.
