13.6.1 Resources

Transporting resources by rail

A resource may also be transported from the USSR to China if both Alma Ata and Lan-Chow are friendly controlled via the Great Silk Road (not shown on map). If either hex is unable to rail a resource, no transportation may be made. If the USSR and Japan sign a neutrality pact, then the Great Silk Road may no longer be used.

Background/Purpose: a small amount of Soviet aid was sent to China, which this allows.

Dave's Notes: provides some additional incentive for Japan to come to peace with the USSR. Useful chiefly if using our Nationalist Chinese Collapse rule.
