Bodies of knowledge from library and information science will be used as background
in the coding and interpretation of both the specific subject matter domain areas
as well as the broader understanding of projects. A special coding scheme for content
has been developed that maintains concurrent relationships to LC, Dewey and LCSH.

[The scheme was developed with alignment to conversion tables for traditional systems (Scott, 1993).]
