Replying to LO12845 --

An easy technique to help define a personal mission statement:

1. Write a statement of your mission for in the next thirty days.

2. Read it every day and see what reactions you have. Take some notes.

3. At the end of thirty days change the wording based on your reactions
and notes.

4. Continue forever.

The beauty of this technique is that no matter how simple, stupid, shallow
or useless the first draft is, the next one will be better. If we are
constantly correcting toward something meaningful a mission statement need
not remain the same for 100 years.
