The chicks are
pretty much the color of sand too.
|
This is why the best protection from
humans is total beach closure. Even the Seabrook
cops, who knew the nests and chicks were there
didn't see 'em.
|
Of course even the total beach
closure can't protect against humans who don't
restpect the closure - or who have evil intent
toward the plovers.
