We hired Pete Connor, a local DAR from Plymouth Massachusetts to inspect our plane.
My early experiences in dealing with the Boston FSDO (Flight Standards District Office) were not very pleasant. So, when it came time to do the final inspection, I was happy to pay Pete the $300.00 fee to get it done.
Pete made a few suggestions, like adding color bands to our airspeed and temperature gauges. But, other than that, we were good to go.
