As described in the directions, we inserted the boom tube into the fuselage openings. We then leveled the stabilator to match the fuselage wing rear attachment points. We placed an aluminum ruler across the wing attachments, then put the level on the ruler.

Once leveled, we drilled and clecoed the base section of the boom tube.

Notice that we used a large hose clamp to keep the boom tube in position while we drilled.

Then we drilled the second section of the boom tube.
