SAVE THE DATE! The Bookmark Ball returns! The Friends of the Hyde Park Branch Library will again play host to the Hyde Park community and beyond to raise funds for the Friends' summer concert series and other musical programs throughout the year. Join the fun and meet your neighbors as they gather for music, dancing, and refreshments, as well as a raffle and silent auction. Stay tuned here for more updates!
Holiday Branch Closings The Hyde Park Branch Library will close for Presidents Day (Monday, February 21), Evacuation Day (Thursday, March 17), Patriots Day (Monday, April 18), Memorial Day (Monday, May 30), and Bunker Hill Day (Friday, June 17).

BPS Family Literacy Program A 6-week program promoting literacy in children sponsored by BPS Parent University and the Hyde Park Branch Library, join Hyde Park area BPS families as parents participate in book discussions and their children engage in their own language arts activities. Pre-registration and participation in all 6 scheduled sessions is requested.
AARP Tax Assistance Tax preparation assistance for senior citizens is provided by the local AARP chapter. Please call the branch to schedule an appointment or to get more information.

Valentine's Day Storytime A family story night of holiday stories followed by a bookmark craft gift for a special friend.
Teen Employment Advocacy Group Teens from the Dorchester Bay Youth Force will discuss strategies and skills needed to advocate for increased funding for jobs for local teens.
Valentine's Day Storytime Come and join us for songs, chants, movement, dance, and instrument play in a Music Together class led by Jennifer Grant. Music Together is a high quality research-based early childhood music and movement program for children, ages 0-5, with a caregiver.
Mad Science Children ages 5-12 are invited to be entertained and amazed by this spectacular science-themed show in which they might create super bouncy balls or conjure foggy dry ice storms. Sponsored by the Friends of the Hyde Park Branch LIbrary.
