Navigation Bars

Create a Table of links to use as a menu for navigation.


Perhaps the second easiest way of making a menu is simply to make a table of links. While not as simple as using lists to group links, a table allows for more interesting arrangements, including horizontal placement.

Here is an example of links for the files in this part of the site called "menus" as seen on the home page:

 Bars  |  Maps  |  Frames

Here is an example of the same links shown in a vertical table:
Bars
Maps
Frames

Button bars are a great way to put a bunch of little buttons in a straight line for navigation between pages on your web site.

Try it yourself!

Create a table with at least four cells.
Create a set of links or use a set you already have created.
Cut or copy the links into the cells.
