Q. What are the major limitations / problems with a dialogue approach?

Would anybody care to comment?
======end of quote=====

One limitation for many is impatience for action. Many individuals find
it difficult to explore issues for understanding rather than for action.
Often, a dialogue might begin, but the natural tendency is to move
directly to solutions, sometimes before the problem is clearly identified.

It is interesting, that when many individuals have participated in a
dialogue, or other reflective conversation, they find it very useful and
meaningful.
