Replying to LO11596 --

Colleagues:

In the continuing dialogue of re: the role of groupware in organizational
learning, I've recently completed some case study research on this
subject. It will be released (late Feb. 1997) in a book entitled
"Collaborative Technologies and Organizational Learning" published by Idea
Group Publishing (Harrisburg, PA and London)
(see":http://www.idea-group.com/coltech.htm). The book contains a
discussion of the theoretical bases underlying Org. learning and three
distinctly different implementation approaches to using Lotus Notes as an
"intellectual material transfer mechanism". The book also contains
practice prescriptions as a result of testing the three implementation
approaches over a 10 month period.
