REply to LO 12006:

Rick Karash commented on the value of imperfect models in helping
us learn and accomplish goals. I recall a statement by the late "quality
guru" Edwards Deming that seems to cpature some of the essence of this
view. My recollection of the quote is, "All models are wrong, but some
models are useful."
