Sorry about the mistake in my post on models: Ptolemy saw the earth as the
centre and Copernicus the sun at the centre (hence the chains and a few
years in prison to clear his mind a little). However, you would all have
picked up this stupid switch anyway - and forgiven me.
[Host's Note: So, Keith, making this change in your original paragraph,
it would read...
"Ptolomy saw the earth as the centre of the universe and everything moving
in circular orbits around it. Copernicus used a model with the sun as the
centre - he spent some time in irons for this heresy!"
