Sherri, the problem with answering your questions is their hidden
presuppositions. The questions presupplose that John and I are threatened,
and presuppose that I want to put an end to the discussion.

First Sherri, I don't believe that I have said anything of the sort,
though I could be wrong. And I must admit to being a tad miffed at what I
see as a huge leap in drawing conclusions.

So, I can't answer your questions, because they are based on inaccurate
conclusions you have drawn..now, to explore the source would be
interesting...what has lead you to believe that I want to end the
conversation...etc?

Perhaps this would give us an opportunity to explore communication
principles.

I am very offended by this comment.
