I am Professor Philip C. Anderson's assistant at the Amos Tuck School at
Dartmouth College. Professor Anderson is Program Chair to the College on
Organization Science.

"The INFORMS College on Organization Science will be sponsoring a special
themed program on "Applications of Complexity Theory to Organization
Science" November 4 at the Atlanta Hilton, as part of the national INFORMS
meetings. This conference has been coordinated with the special issue of
ORGANIZATION SCIENCE on the same topic; see volume 7 number 3 for the call
for papers. The conference includes 22 papers on complexity theory as it
applies to organizations, from a wide range of authors. For abstracts of
