Ben, I agree. I like to look at this in terms of paradigm filters that are
operated by both the formal and informal parts of the organisation and
which can lead to both formal and informal resistance to change. For web
users this is shown below.
Your thinking on organisational philosophy has many parallels with
Schein's thoughts on organisational culture.
