Replying to LO10395 --

In viewing the messages over the past months I've noticed a minor pattern.
That is to do a promo with material which is similar to a "leader" in
broadcasting, designed to keep one guessing what the "real" news is.

Would it not be preferable, if one has a concept or method, to give the
method to the group as well as do promos for seminars etc? Would we
members be tempted to "use" the info in nefarious ways? I don't think so,
but if it is a valuable piece of material we would have the ability to
digest it for ourselves. Such is the N-A-K-E-D process referred to in this
posting for a motivational seminar. Too much sales and marketing for me.

[Host's Note: John, thanks for expressing this. My policy is to
distribute commercial msgs if their subject is sufficiently related to
our topic of learning organizations. I too would object to "teasers" and
I do return some messages asking their authors to share something that
would be of interest to readers. I hope Pete Heineman will respond here
to tell us a bit about his acronym. ...Rick]
