Organizing for customer focus LO10424

We are in the process of reorganizing a portion of our infrastructure on
campus here around customer focus. The new "Facilities Services Group"
encompasses our previously designated Physical Plant Operations,
Architectural and Engineering Services, Planning and Administration areas,
and Facilities Planning and Utilization.

We are looking for any companies, universities, profit or non-profit
groups, or other types of organizations that have had experience in this
area. In particular, we are hoping to find some one within a single day's
drive of the University of Iowa with whom we could communicate, share
information, and exchange site visits to learn more about each
organization.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
