It has been my experience over the years, supported by that of others,
that a person's ROLE in an organization may have very little to do with
their POSITION occupied. This has been particularly true the higher up the
ladder one goes...almost as a "balance" or "glue" that holds the
organization in place. Have you had such experiences?

Also, regarding my use of the term "capability" in my prior msg to you, I
mean by that the development of the individuals maximum potential and
actual level of skill, knowledge and commitment to the project et al at
hand. Jargon or "Jaques-speak" sometimes can restrict one's ability to
comprehend outside of the context of the system in which one is operating.
I didn't mean to confuse.
