I am reminded of something Einstein said: "Our thinking creates problems
which the same level of thinking can't solve." This is what makes the best
of these lists as good as they are for so many people. Diversity is what
is essential, it seems to me, as is the need for tolerance certainly. That
you are "there" and we are "here" offers opportunity for learning which
cannot be gained in any other fashion. Otherwise, "the tree would fall"
and no one would be there to notice. Americans would benefit by reflecting
on how others may see us. I want to thank you for taking the time to
express yourself on this very important issue.
