I'm not skeptical about the ability to teach people to lead, what I am
skeptical is how effective teaching one person in a company will be.
Approximately inversely proportional to the damage that person will do if
not taught effectively.
It's a pre-req.
Or, as Senge put it, "Organizations learn only through individuals who
learn. Individual learning does not guarantee organizational learning. But
without it no organizational learning occurs."
