I am employed as the assistant to the president at a state university in
Virginia. My boss has been asked to give a commencement address to a
local high school graduating class. I thought it would be interesting to
get the perspective of the folks on this list as to what ought to be
included in the speech from your viewpoint. He would like the speech to
focus on the world these kids will be entering, whether they go on to
college or not. In other words, to be prepared to face constant change,
new and newer technology, and a global focus to the society. What ought
they know about this new world they're entering from the learning
organization perspective? If you were to give a graduating high school
senior advice, what would it be?

Thanks for your help!
