I agree with Dixon who advocates 'deed not words'. I've been in academia
for eleven years and the motto I use is DOIT said a little like Homer in
the Simpsons. I do consultancies in the community and there inaction and
reaction are as deadly as in academia especially when it is government
departments I have to deal with. Do it! but think first! because one
more blink and today is gone.
