What about "universal pragmatics"?
Pragmatics has roots in the greek "pragma - a thing done, business" and in
"praesin - to do". The characteristic doctrine of Pragmatism is that the
meaning of conceptions is to be sought in their practical bearings, that
the function of thought is as a guide to practical action, and that the
"truth" is preeminently to be tested by the practical consequences of
beleif. Or as Maturana and Varela put it "knowing is doing and doing is
knowing". In addition one of the definitions of pragmatic in my Webster's
is "dealing with events so as to show their interconnection"
