Replying to LO3866 --

Having noted Bernie's comments below, I feel compelled to add that anyone
interested in a profound and playful look at learning and group
interaction would do well to find a copy of _The Well-Played Game_ by none
other than one Bernie DeKoven (Anchor Books, 1978). As a founding player
in the New Games movement, Bernie knows whereof he plays and this book
(which is worth the search to find--you can't have mine!) speaks volumes
on the human capacity for renewing, rejuvenating interpersonal contact in
all sorts of settings. (And even for the value of playing with yourself,
but that is another book's worth!)

I have no financial, corporate, or political connections with Bernie. (He
is a friend I found on this list after learning from him in absentia some
twenty years before--a treasure of playful pleasure.)
