This is hilarious and deadly all at once. Some truths, on their own
strength alone, provoke confessions: and so I must confess myself a Pure
Systems Thinker.
Oh, but now hold on there. These are of course, as you pointed out,
"archetypes". And I am most certainly not one of those. None of us are.
The fact is, reading your list, when I reached number three I immediately
felt a shock of recognition. And a little voice said, "Michmerhuizen, if
you ever fell from grace, and embraced all the most vicious habits you are
capable of, you would be one of those archetype number three types."
Now I feel better. Confession is good for the soul.
Well, aside from the frolicsome humor, doesn't every one of us recognize,
in some way, at some time, our own weaknesses? And don't these often take
the form of "archetypal" responses to the situations we find ourselves in?
