Here are my notes/thoughts from the 1995 Systems Thinking in Action
Conference, "Building Organizational Learning Infrastructures," Sep.
18-20, 1995, Boston.

Keynote - A Quantum Vision for Building the Learning Organization - Danah
Zohar

Danah talks very fast, covers a lot of material, and is very engaging.
Thus I took few notes. The talk focused on the differences between a
Newtonian world view and a quantum world view. What probably made the
biggest impression on me was her diagram consisting of one large circle
and two smaller circles on the circumference of the larger one (if you
look at it askew, it kind of looks like a stick drawing of Mickey Mouse -
the big circle is the face, the two smaller circles are the ears). The
first small circle represents our present position and current mental
models. By focusing on questions, embracing uncertainty, and using
Dialogue; we tap into the larger circle which is labeled Vision Potential
or Quantum Vacuum (Bohm's Implicate Order) and thereby evolve to a new
position - the second small circle.
