Fred says that there is some implication that human thought and action
should be bug-free, and adds that it seems some bugs are necessary.
Jack Hirschfeld said that bugs are "unadvertised features". Jack says
this is an old chestnut, but I hadn't heard it before, and appreciated it.
Fred also suggests that the idea of necessary mindbugs is appropriate to
fit with Peirce's philosophy, of which apparently he and I are both
students.
I never would have made that connection which Fred develops. I guess I'm
just a creature of habit [(:o)].
