I'd like to take your good comments one step lower in detail with a single
thought concerning empowerment.
At a conference in NYC a few months ago, someone provided an equation
which struck home, and which I use constantly now when trying to expand on
the concept of empowerment: Empowerment is nothing more or less than the
product of three things: freedom (to act), direction and support.
E=(F)(D)(S). I believe the equation assists in filling out somewhat the
concept of masterly inactivity or active inertia.
