Take a look at Jack Stack's "The Great Game of Business" and his
Springfield Remanufacturing Company. And what can anyone offer re. the
Scanlon Plan? It's on my reading list but I'm not quite there yet...
instead I'm finishing Douglas McGregor's "The Human Side of Enterprise" at
the moment, with great delight (why are we still having to elaborate and
struggle for the ideas he so elegantly laid out in 1960?). Also, you
might want to take a look at Peter Block's "Stewardship" - he's pretty
convincing about getting some early successes before tackling financial
prerogatives.
