Visioning can really get a team working together.
Around a conference table, I occasionally ask the people in my permanent
workgroup to write down on an index card why they "come in to work each
morning".
We then pass the cards around one person to the right and read them aloud
in turn.
We then take the ideas we all share and write up a vision statement for
all to sign.
