I read yet another news article about the alleged programmer shortage, this time in the Boston Globe. The key difference is that its focus was on the doubts about the reality of the shortage. Apparently many reputable people think the hiring companies are just trying to hold salaries down and so want only to hire entry level workers. I was going to write a lot more about this, but I'm wiped out. | |
