See this movie: Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control Four unrelated stories begin to play off each other and common threads emerge. Things as disparate as Naked Mole-Rats and the topiary gardner at Green Animals begin to take on cosmic implications. If I write what I'd like to about this movie, I'll spoil it. Most of the fun for me was not knowing what to expect and watching it unfold - making my own connections and having my own insights. Nancy's still getting over the mysterious fever virus and the mysterious sprained ankle (only mysterious because I still can't figure out how you can sprain your ankle reading Moby Dick) and I was tired from staying late at Kevin's last night, so we went to an early show at the Cable Car, a light supper at the Garden Grille, and then vegged out on the couch before going to bed early. | |
