Mt. Tokachi-dakeWhat a spectacular day for a hike! Crystal clear, deep blue sky. Crisp air. Perfect climbing weather. We parked Istvan's van and Hiromitsu's jeep at the Tokachi-dake spa parking lot and headed up the wide, gradual trail. Each bend in the trail gave a more spectacular view of the snow-capped peak and the steam rising from the volcano. |
