Travel arrangements complete. Now all I gotta do is get the medical form signed. It's amazing what a little out of box thinking can do. Instead of flying from Tokyo to Asahikawa as recommended by the PI of the Earthwatch Expedition, the travel agent suggested flying from Tokyo to Chitose and taking a train to Furano (where I'm going). This is great. No 2 hour bus ride from Tokyo Narita airport to Tokyo Haneda airport, no weird connections. And I get to spend the night in Chitose and take the train to Furano in the morning when I can actually see some of the countryside. Hokkaido here I come.
