The first piece of the plane that you assemble
is the Chromemoly Cage
This is the 4130 steel section of a FlightStar.
One of the things I like to point out to
prospective builders is that no painting
is required when you build a FlightStar. That
may not seem like a big deal, at first. But, it
really is.
Both the Main Cage and the Landing Gear come
pre-welded with a beautiful high-gloss, ebony,
powder coating.
