Week 16 Complete the Wing Ribs and More Motor Runup



It's almost ready to fly now.

Unfortunately, we didn't capture and pictures of the battens being installed.

This photo shows the upper wing surface taking shape. The battens have been slipped into their pockets, but aren't fully seated yet.

The wings are done now.

This photo shows our first fuselage cover that we cut out of one of the Budge autocovers.

The completed plane from our bedroom window.

Although it hasn't left the ground yet, the plane is ready to fly in this picture.

The anticipation builds.

We completed the breakin period for our Rotax in the back yard.

This shot shows the tachometer pulling about 5,000 RPM and normal indications on the Cylinder Head and Exhaust Gas temperature gauges.
