*** Fuel System Schematic and Photos of each junction *** A1. We "prototyped" the fuel lines with cheap air tubing. Then we changed to opaque blue "Aeroquip" tubing. The "Aeroquip" tubing is heavier than the clear blue tubing Mark uses. This may add a little weight to the plane, but we believe it will be safer & will not have to be replaced as often. A2. Also, we used several 90 degree plastic barb connectors (used with fuel lines.) We got these from Lockwood Aviation. B1. The schematic shows the fuel vent tube on the right. On the plane, this is in the middle. B2. The schematic shows the Electric Fuel Pump on the left (3-7) and the Pneumatic Fuel Pump on the right (8-12). On the plane, these are reversed due to proximity of the units. B3. The schematic shows a blue arrow for the Pulse Tube on the bottom of the pneumatic fuel pump. On the plane, this is on the top and the input/output fuel lines are on the bottom. |
