This section shows how we finally routed the brake cables through
the rear wall to the wheels.
See also "Rudder and Brake Cables" for routing inside the plane
and "Main Gear" for brakes on the wheel.
In routing the brake cables from the cabin to the wheel,
we noticed a few sheathings were too long.
CAREFULLY, we pulled the cable toward the front of the sheathing
(without pulling it out). Then, with the dremel cutting
tool, we cut off the end that was too long (just the
sheathing, not the cable).
The cable got caught on the rough end, so we used the
de-burring tool to smoothe the opening.
Unfortunatley, because of the way we designed the rear wall,
one of the brake cables did not fit through the "triangle"....
So we routed it a little higher.
