Do While Virtual was created to expand the community of Do While Studio without increasing our Boston based facilities.
On-line Events is a project of Do While Virtual. We are committed to developing events that are international in scope and accessable through realatively common desktop technology.
A different artist develops a concept and an on-line presence for each month of the series. One of the unique qualities of this type of on-line artwork is that each participant has a different event experience based on hardware and software configurations such as video capability and user preferences.
To facilitate real-time coordination, we are using Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) as a scheduling standard. Please check the time zone resources to calculate the start time of events for your location.
This series uses software environments that are free of charge, are easy to install, and have a small learning curve. We suggest that you download and become familiar with iVisit software prior to the day of the event.
Adult supervision of minors for all real-time internet events is recomended.
If you are interested in participating in a particular event you will find detailed information linked from the On-line Events schedule page. You can also propose to develop and coordinate an event.
