Brock, I absolutely agree. We have to adopt change as our mindset. Unless
we undergo a paradigm shift from the old attitude of Oh! no! more changes!
to an attitude of embracing life and work as a constant dynamic of change
then it will be difficult to advance into the twenty first century. I
think your scenario of unrelenting change exactly typifies modern life.

Within organisations people cannot expect that they change their
administrative structures once and that will serve them effectively for
the next twenty years. To keep abreast of new challenges, new
competitions, new technological and social developments we have to
continually refine the way we organise ourselves and the outcomes we want
to achieve.

It goes against our upbringing to adopt a new attitude. Perhaps the next
generation will be better at this. What do others think?
