As are every theory we hold. Since our measurement systems are based on
perception, they too need be opinions, regardless of the absolute
standards at NIST, in the Bible, Koran, or the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

Are we confused yet? Even Andrew's "objective proof in statistical
pattern" is as subjective as the hermeneutic spiral it is a point on. My
point then, is this: truth, faith, trust, honesty may be "opinions", but
in the rapid emergence of the twenty first century operating system for
this big rock, they're the values we need to put it in perspective.
