I have asked the 'theologians' around me and you might find some stuff in
a couple of places
Robin Gill's -The Myth of the Empty Church includes some studies on small
congregations
Also Michaels Green (I think it is I Believe in the Church) discusses
large congregations and things which support their life/growth. He talks
about cells, church and celebrations.
* cells - to provide a place of belonging
* church - to provide resources and connects cells
* celebrations - so that everyone has a sense that they are part of
something bigger
there is other stuff about welcome etc.. but I don't have the book
here..........
