I believe that the first instinct (i.e. to identify this response a
feeling of DISCOMFORT) is more correct than the ellaboration (i.e. to
label this feeling of discomfort as stupidity). The feeling of discomfort
will pass. The label of stupid tends to be more permanent and limiting.
