If we were in Japan, we would find that competitive information is fairly
freely available through MITI - once the originators are deemed to have
had sufficient time to secure a reasonable return on their investment.
We would also find that the Japanese view of competition is to delight
your customers, rather than beat seven bells out of your so-called
COMPETITORS :>))).
We would also see that the Japanese actually operate on the basis of a
social rather than an economic policy.
